The Emmaus Retreat and Spirituality Centre is located in Wellington, New Zealand.

As the nation's capital, Wellington is the seat of Government, with its distinctive "Beehive" building.

Wellington also hosts many social, cultural and sporting events. The Parliament buildings, the national museum "Te Papa", the waterfront with its many cafes and restaurants and the picturesque Botanical Gardens, and Cable Car are places of interest within the city.

Wellington enjoys a temperate climate without extremes. The summer months (December--February) are pleasantly warm and the winter (June--August) is relatively mild.

The city is frequently referred to as 'windy Wellington' The truth is--the city struggles to live up to its reputation!

Emmaus is located only a short walk from the CBD, in Hobson St Thorndon.
Travelling from the north you exist the motorway at the Murphy St. exit, then turn left into Pipitea St. At the end of Pipitea St you turn left into Hobson St. The Centre is along the street on your right, next door to the Australia Embassy.
The street number is 78.

accessed from the top end of Molesworth St, via Murphy and Pipitea Sts.
